Replacing a Fire Surround without removing your existing Back Panel and Hearth - To make fitting easier for you I will need to know the rebate size. The rebate is the distance from the wall to the face of any marble or back panel fitted to the wall. If you are unsure or your existing fire surround is still fitted then give me a call and I will explain how best to obtain the rebate size.Mick can be contacted from 8am to 8pm daily or email via mick@oakfiresurrounds.co.uk

As there is nothing to pay untill your items are delivered ordering is easy, just email or phone me with the items you want, your name, a delivery address and contact number. I will then confirm your order. I will then contact you when your order is ready to arrange a date and time for delivery.
Based in the Midlands I provide delivery to most parts of mainland UK by my own dedicated drivers and vans. As my products are made to order please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery at a cost of £35. Scotland is up to 4 weeks at a cost of £50

"Mick & his team give "old fashioned service"- friendly, knowledgable, helpful and efficient. 2 inserts/hearth sets were sent so that I could make my choice at home, and the delivery driver was really great- bringing both sets into my house so that I could see them with carpet and furnishings before I made my choice!! The oak fire place surround is beautiful- well made, solid and the wood grain is gorgeous, and was even supplied with finishing oil for aftercare. The most amazing part of all was that no payment was made until I had seen and was happy with the quality of the goods. I have seen similar (but not as nice) fireplaces in shops for far more money. My fireplace fitter was very impressed with the quality of goods, and has taken the website details to recommend to his clients. Brilliant!!"

"I purchased a Cathedral Oak surround made to my measurements and the result is absolutely stunning!
The workmanship is first rate with top grade materials and when - halfway through the given manufacturing time - I needed to make some alterations, this was done without any problems at all. Communications were excellent throughout. I was phoned to OK a delivery time and the time given was for between 8 & 9 am - it was delivered at 8am on the dot and very carefully carried in to the required room.
I cannot praise the product or the Company high enough and would not hesitate to recommend them!

"We wanted a fire surround to fit our existing mantel - Mick and Shaun were extremely helpful and after checking measurements with us made a beautiful Cathedral fire surround. It fitted perfectly, the oak is excellent quality and we are really pleased with it. Really good communication throughout process. We didn't have to pay a penny until we received the surround which shows trust and confidence in their products. Highly recommended."

"Having purchased a Cathedral Oak Fireplace and black granite hearth, I can only say what excellent service my wife and I received. Along with beautifully crafted products, Mick Stanford and his staff went that extra mile - literally - in personally delivering said items during the heavy snowfalls of December 2010 because of transport problems. "This website is very easy to navigate and all the information is very clear and is easily accessible.
The oak fire surround and the black granite hearth and back panel we purchased are of the highest quality and we are delighted with them.
The service is excellent and the delivery monitoring and update supoport is exceptional.
