Made to Measure - For a made to measure fire surround list the measurements you need using the ABC list above and email them to mick@oakfiresurrounds.co.uk or phone Mick for advise on the measurements needed 0800 0199008 or 0121 773 8833

Replacing a Fire Surround without removing your existing Back Panel and Hearth - To make fitting easier for you I will need to know the rebate size. The rebate is the distance from the wall to the face of any marble or back panel fitted to the wall. If you are unsure or your existing fire surround is still fitted then give me a call and I will explain how best to obtain the rebate size.

As there is nothing to pay untill your items are delivered ordering is easy, just email or phone me with the items you want, your name, a delivery address and contact number. I will then confirm your order. I will then contact you when your order is ready to arrange a date and time for delivery.

Based in the Midlands I provide delivery to most parts of mainland UK by my own dedicated drivers and vans. As my products are made to order please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery at a cost of £35. Scotland is up to 4 weeks at a cost of £50

Oak fire surround

"Excellent service right from the first phone call to the quick delivery.Very good price,all the measurements exact and really easy to install.I fitted it within one hour of delivery and it looks absolutely superb,every visitor we have had says how lovely it looks. 10 out of 10 to Mick and all his staff. New Fireplace

"I would recommend 'Designer Fireplaces' to anyone contemplating buying a new fireplace/surround. Unbelievably in this day and age, no payment was requested until the goods (in my case a new surround and granite hearth), were delivered. the Oak surround was tailored to my dimensions and on arrival, found to be beautifully made - together with the black granite surround. The whole installation looks stunning, although possibly not the cheapest around, in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Many thanks Mick."

Oak Fire Surround

"Have just taken delivary of replacement fire surround, spent a while looking at internet sites etc, found this one and as I was a 100 miles or so away was a little hesitant. After reading the reviews I was a lot more relaxed and after speaking to Mick, I was completely relaxed. I gave him my demensions, he said it would be with me in 2 weeks and pay him then. In 2 weeks the surround arrived, it looks great and exceeded my expecations. I have all ready recommneded to friends and would have no hesitation in using them again.

Straight Oak Surround

"We ordered the straight oak surround to go with our existing hearth and we were not disappointed ! I spoke to Mick on the phone to check whether the dimensions of the surround would fit our existing hearth and it was a perfect fit. The surround arrived less than 2 weeks later and it looks great with our new oak furniture. We have received a lot of compliments for it - I love it !"

"after months of deliberating we finally ordered an oak mantle and granite hearth and back plate. The communiaction with the company was excellent and the delivery driver was great. The mantle and hearth are superb could not be more pleased, would highly recommend them."

Perfection !

"We came to see Mick at the show room he was both informative and helpful, in fact we were so impressed that after sitting in the car for a couple of minutes we decide we would go back in and place our order [a first in the smith household !] The bespoke mirror and fireplace arrived exactly on the date and were expertly fitted. The room looks great with the fire and mirror as the main feature Just want to say a warm thank you from our new warm room."

Fabulous Fire Surrounds!

"I found Designer Fireplaces by chance on a google search and was impressed by the range of fire surrounds available and more so when I found out that size was not important and that I was able to have my surround made to my specific measurements at no additional cost. My surround was ready and delivered in the agreed timescales and I took comfort from fact that no money changed hands until I was 100% happy.. The surround looks great and would definately recommend them to friends and family - a great friendly service and good quality products!"
